Tell us your armed forces story

Professional Digital Storyteller Barrie Stephenson, a pioneer of a digital storytelling BBC television and internet project, Telling Lives, is running a number of story telling workshops in York for Armed Forces personnel, support staff and families.

During the workshops Barrie will work with you to develop a script and record your individual stories. The stories will be added to the collection of York 800 stories and selected stories will form part of a film to be shown during Illuminating York. They may also be used as part of a script for a Riding Lights Theatre production in the New Year, which will be performed by young people from the theatre and military families.
