Musical family fun day

Come and find out what we do on Saturday mornings, have a listen, or bring your instrument and join in the fun!

We have a fabulous variety of groups, including Overture (music-making for ages 3-8), WOW band for beginner players, Young Voices, Young Minstrels recorder group, Guitar Groups, Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band, Intermediate Band, String Orchestra, First Strings, Minster Minstrels, Improvisation, Big Band and Theory classes.

Or come and try an instrument for free! If you’ve ever wanted to have a go on a string, wind or brass instrument, now’s your chance.

Refreshments are available all morning in our tuck shop, including tea, coffee and mince pies.
