Kimono have some fun

Sun 7 Aug, 1pm to 4pm at Priory Street Centre, York

Come and join us for lots of Japanese cultural activities! Calligraphy, Origami, Traditional Storytelling, Kimono Try-on, Japanese cakes.  We also have demonstrations by Doshin Kenyukai Kendo Club (martial art of sword-fighting) and Kaminari Japanese drumming group!
No booking or ticket necessary. Part of the proceeds goes to Oxfam Japan Tohoku Pacific Ocean Earthquake Appeal. For more info go to
