Raising funds for TEENAGE CANCER a family fun day to raise awareness of the risk to young people.
“I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma at at age 20 - I had just given birth to my first son. I spent a month in Hull Royal Infirmary on a ward with older people with cancer totally unaware that teenagers and young adults could get this horrendous disease”. This young Mum and her friends will be organising a family fun day with music, dancing, activities, games, giveaways from Minster Radio, stalls etc and hoping to raise awareness and funds for this very worthy charity.
