Vintage Bags & Accessories Course

Design and make small pieces of textiles, such as bags and accessories. Learn how to quilt and add texture and pattern to your work through the addition of appliqué. Coordinate colours and patterns and join fabrics to create interesting effects.  

This course caters for all abilities - for beginners, those with an art/textile background and anyone who loves to sew and create really original pieces of work ideal for presents and special occasions.

Note: We will provide (free of charge) a variety of fabrics - spots and stripes, plains and florals, some vintage, some new for your use, plus buttons, ribbon and braid, etc. You are also free to bring any other materials you would particularly like to use. 

This is a 6 week course starting on Monday 16 April, 7pm to 9pm at York High School
