Join the Active Living Officer for a beautiful walk around the countryside of Byland Abbey for a 6 mile walk along country tracks and woodland paths. The walk includes a few steep inclines and stiles. Toilets are available at the start of the walk and at the end. Please bring lunch as refreshments will not be available until after the walk in the local pub. A bus service is available from York Exhibition Square (Stephensons 31X) leaving at 10.15am arriving at Byland Abbey at 10.59am. Walk will not start until the bus arrives. Return for further information if required.
journey can either be 2.09pm or 4.16pm back to York. Bus fares may apply.
