Once again York will come to life with the sounds of the Carnival 2011 – and entertainment which will be out of this world!
Organised by students from University of York, this year there will be three main components of the day. An Outerspace themed parade which runs through the streets of York; performances throughout the City Centre as well as the two stages; and free workshops to take part in. Also, look out for the street performers, inflatable games, the kids’ corner and creative drawing. Along Parliament Street there will be face painting, a treasure hunt, henna tattoos, a smoothie workshop and much more!
