The students from the University of York have pulled out all the stops to bring a festival to the centre of the City which will include two stages, one presenting bands and choirs, the other dance and much more.
The Carnival Parade with a Samba Theme will commence from the Minster Gardens at 12.15. Other activities will be in Parliament Street with the stage hosting critically acclaimed acts including My Forever, Halloe Away and Totally Sophie. Learn to Samba or Juggle; visit the Vintage Faire of fifteen stalls offering a wide variety of goods from time gone by.
