Starts Mon 15 April (for 5 weeks), 7pm to 9pm at Huntington School
Learn about basic glass fusing techniques, glass types and its complex chemical structure, as well as how glass behaves at high temperatures and see examples of contemporary and historic use of the technique.
Get hands on cutting glass, and then working with copper sheet, frits etc. to develop your own jewellery designs.
All materials and equipment will be supplied, so all you need to bring is your creativity.
Each learner will be given two jewellery fittings to create a final piece although additional brooch backs, and bails as well as necklaces and can be purchased at cost price at the end of the course.
